It is FDA-approved for the treatment of skin infections (wounds and abscesses) caused by susceptible strains of Pasteurella multocida, Escherichia coli, and Staphylococcus aureus. Veraflox is administered orally as a palatable liquid suspension, making it easier to dose cats compared to traditional tablets.
