Sulfamethoxazole-Trimethoprim (SMZ-TMP) is a broad-spectrum oral antibiotic prescribed by veterinarians to treat a wide range of bacterial infections in dogs and cats. Its dual-action formula helps eliminate bacteria responsible for urinary tract infections, respiratory infections, skin infections, gastrointestinal infections, and more. This medication can be given directly or with food for easier administration.
