Sileo (dexmedetomidine oromucosal gel) is a veterinary prescription oromucosal sedative used in dogs. It is FDA-approved for the treatment of noise aversion (noise anxiety), such as fear and stress caused by fireworks, thunderstorms, or loud events. Applied between the dogs cheek and gum, the gel is absorbed through the oral mucosa to provide calming effects without heavy sedation.
