Rimadyl (carprofen) is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used in dogs for the relief of pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis and for the control of postoperative pain following soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries.

Severe reactions, including sudden death, can occur without warning. Discontinue immediately and contact a veterinarian if signs of intolerance appear.

• Directions: Administer orally at 2 mg per lb. of body weight daily (as a single 2 mg/lb. dose once daily or divided into 1 mg/lb. twice daily). For postoperative pain, give ~2 hours before surgery. Chewables are scored and may be divided into half-tablet increments. Ensure full dose is consumed.

• Ingredients: Carprofen 100 mg (per chewable tablet).
