Regu-mate (altrenogest) is a veterinary prescription hormonal therapy designed for use in mares. It is indicated for the suppression of estrus (heat) to improve breeding management and efficiency. When administered orally, most mares respond within three days, making Regu-mate a reliable tool for controlling reproductive cycles. The solution can be administered directly on the mares tongue or mixed with grain feed.
