Otomax is a veterinary prescription otic ointment used in dogs for the treatment of ear infections (otitis externa) caused by susceptible strains of yeast and bacteria. It combines three active ingredientsgentamicin (antibiotic), clotrimazole (antifungal), and betamethasone (anti-inflammatory corticosteroid)to provide broad-spectrum infection control, relieve inflammation, and reduce itching and discomfort in the ear canal.
