Enroquin Flavored Tablets are an FDA-approved antibiotic for dogs and cats, bioequivalent to Bayer Baytril Taste Tabs, delivering the same safety and efficacy at a lower cost. The active ingredient, Enrofloxacin, is a broad-spectrum quinolone antibiotic effective against Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria.

Enroquin is used to treat canine urinary tract infections (cystitis), respiratory tract infections, and skin (dermal) infections. The tablets are beef-flavored for easier acceptance by both dogs and cats.

Active Ingredient (per tablet):

• Enrofloxacin 22.7 mg

Dosing & Administration:

• Dogs: Administer orally at 520 mg/kg (2.279.07 mg/lb) of body weight once daily, or divide into two doses 12 hours apart. Dose selection should be based on clinical judgment, infection severity, and pathogen susceptibility.

• Cats: Administer orally at 5 mg/kg (2.27 mg/lb) once daily, or divided into two doses 12 hours apart.

• Treatment should continue for at least 23 days beyond cessation of clinical signs, up to a maximum of 30 days.

• Tablets are scored for accurate dosing.

Cautions/Warnings:

• Contraindicated in pets hypersensitive to quinolones.

• Avoid use in growing puppies of small/medium breeds (28 months) and large/giant breeds (up to 1218 months) due to risk of cartilage damage.

• Use with caution in pets with CNS disorders, as quinolones may cause seizures.

• Do not exceed 5 mg/kg/day in cats to avoid risk of retinal toxicity.

• Federal law restricts this drug to use by or on the order of a licensed veterinarian.
