Drontal Plus is a prescription broad-spectrum dewormer for dogs, combining praziquantel, pyrantel pamoate, and febantel in a palatable chewable tablet. It is effective against a wide variety of intestinal parasites, including tapeworms, hookworms, roundworms (ascarids), and whipworms. These taste tabs are scored for convenient dosing and are designed to be easy to administer.

• Indication (Dogs):

  • Removal of tapeworms: Dipylidium caninum, Taenia pisiformis, Echinococcus granulosus; control of Echinococcus multilocularis.

  • Removal of hookworms: Ancylostoma caninum, Uncinaria stenocephala.

  • Removal of roundworms (ascarids): Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina.

  • Removal of whipworms: Trichuris vulpis.

• Use Only Under Vet Supervision: Administer only as prescribed by a veterinarian. Fecal testing and accurate weight measurement are recommended prior to treatment. May require repeat dosing in environments where reinfection is common.

• Contraindications/Cautions: Do not use in pregnant animals. Overdosing may increase risk of side effects. Handle infected feces with strict hygiene precautions, especially in cases of Echinococcus multilocularis, which can be a public health concern.

• Possible Side Effects: Rare but may include mild gastrointestinal upset (vomiting, diarrhea, decreased appetite).

• Storage: Store at or below 77F (25C). Keep in a sealed container if un-blistered. Protect from moisture and light.
