Drontal Plus is a prescription broad-spectrum dewormer for dogs, formulated with praziquantel, pyrantel pamoate, and febantel. This palatable chewable tablet is effective against a wide range of intestinal parasites, including tapeworms, hookworms, roundworms (ascarids), and whipworms. The 22.7 mg tablet size is scored for easy and accurate dosing, making it convenient for small dogs and puppies.

• Indication (Dogs):

  • Removal of tapeworms: Dipylidium caninum, Taenia pisiformis, Echinococcus granulosus; control of Echinococcus multilocularis.

  • Removal of hookworms: Ancylostoma caninum, Uncinaria stenocephala.

  • Removal of roundworms (ascarids): Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina.

  • Removal of whipworms: Trichuris vulpis.

• Use Only Under Vet Supervision: Must be prescribed by a veterinarian. Accurate weight measurement and fecal testing are recommended before treatment. Retreatment may be required where reinfection is common, especially in cases associated with fleas or Echinococcus multilocularis.

• Contraindications/Cautions: Do not use in pregnant dogs. Strict hygiene precautions should be taken when handling feces after treatment, particularly due to the public health risk of Echinococcus multilocularis.
