Clavacillin (amoxicillin trihydrate/clavulanate potassium) is a broad-spectrum antibiotic for dogs and cats, combining amoxicillin with the beta-lactamase inhibitor clavulanate potassium to enhance bacterial eradication. This formulation is effective against a wide range of bacterial infections, including those caused by beta-lactamaseproducing organisms.

• Strength & Count: 125 mg per tablet; 210 tablets per bottle.

• Class: Potentiated penicillin antibiotic.

• Indication (Dogs): Treatment of skin and soft tissue infections (wounds, abscesses, cellulitis, superficial/juvenile and deep pyoderma) and periodontal infections caused by susceptible bacteria.

• Indication (Cats): Treatment of skin and soft tissue infections (wounds, abscesses, cellulitis/dermatitis) and urinary tract infections (cystitis) caused by susceptible bacteria.

• Dosage: Dogs 6.25 mg/lb twice daily. Cats 62.5 mg twice daily. Duration varies by infection type; do not exceed 30 days of treatment.

• Contraindications/Cautions: Do not use in animals allergic to penicillins or cephalosporins. Discontinue if allergic reaction occurs. Safety in pregnant or breeding animals has not been established.

• Storage: Store in a dry, cool place at 6877F. Do not remove from foil packaging until use.

• Regulatory: Prescription required; federal law restricts this drug to use by or on the order of a licensed veterinarian.
