Benazepril is an ACE inhibitor prescribed for dogs and cats in the treatment of heart failure, high blood pressure (hypertension), and certain kidney diseases. It works by dilating blood vessels and reducing fluid retention, which decreases strain on the heart. In cats, Benazepril is also used to help manage chronic renal insufficiency associated with proteinuria. Manufacturer may vary from product shown.
