The Swing Microchip Large is an electronic door for large cats and small dogs and is reliable, easy to use and simple to program. With an innovative electronic system that only allows your pet to pass through, thus preventing unwanted guests from entering. In fact, the Swing Microchip Large has a special antenna that detects and decodes the microchip under your cat or dogs skin, unblocks it and allows it to open. If your pet does not have a microchip, you can use the collar included in the package, which is free and has a built-in microchip.

The Swing Microchip Large can store up to 30 different 15-digit microchip codes (ISO11784) and comes complete with a wind stop system for draft protection. The cat flap has a useful anti-impact mechanism that allows the flap to close without impact.

The special lock with 4-way adjuster allows you to decide whether to allow your pet to enter and exit freely, enter only, exit only or you can lock the lid completely. If necessary, you can also disable the system that recognizes your pet and allow the valve to function in the traditional, manual manner. Remembering the microchip code is quick and easy: all you have to do is place your furry friend near the special button on the control panel.

Swing Microchip Large is made of robust plastic and can be installed in different constructions and materials: wood, glass or masonry walls. Warning: for installation on glass doors we recommend contacting a glazier before doing so, as holes cannot be made on toughened safety glass or on double glazing unless the holes have already been made during manufacture. For installation on metal doors it is necessary to insulate the Swing cat valve with non-metallic material around the perimeter: this avoids any interference and ensures that the electronic mechanism will function correctly. Finally, it is not possible to cut the cat flap tunnel because some very important components are contained inside it!

The product requires 4 1.5V LR.14 batteries (not included) and has a useful indicator showing when the batteries are low. If the batteries are completely drained, do not worry because the microchips are stored in memory and therefore there is no need to repeat the registration operation.

Finally, when it comes to maintaining the Swing Microchip, all you need to do is use a soft, dry cloth to periodically clean the plastic door and the infrared sensors located inside the tunnel, to the left and right of the tunnel itself.
