Trimethoprim-Sulfamethoxazole (SMZ-TMP) is a broad-spectrum antibiotic used to treat a variety of bacterial infections in pets. It is effective against infections of the urinary tract, respiratory system, skin, and gastrointestinal tract. This oral medication can be given with food and is veterinarian-prescribed for use in multiple species.
