TevraPet FirstAct Plus provides vet-quality flea and tick protection for cats, formulated with the same active ingredients as Frontline Plus (fipronil + (S)-methoprene). This monthly topical treatment works fast to kill fleas, flea eggs, flea larvae, ticks, and lice, while also preventing the development of all flea life stages. It is also effective in the control of sarcoptic mange mite infestations.

Safe for cats over 1.5 lbs. and 8 weeks of age and older.

Dosing & Administration:
Part the hair at the base of your cats skull until the skin is visible. Place the tip of the applicator directly on the skin and squeeze to apply the entire contents. Apply once a month for continuous protection. In severe flea infestations, retreatment may be necessary earlier than one month, but do not reapply more often than once every 7 days. Once flea control is achieved, return to a monthly schedule.

Cautions/Warnings:
For external use on cats only. Do not use on kittens under 1.5 lbs. or younger than 8 weeks. Do not use on dogs or other animals. Individual sensitivities may occur. Avoid ingestion or contact with eyes. Consult your veterinarian before using on medicated, debilitated, or senior cats. Wash hands thoroughly after handling.

Under normal conditions the product remains effective for a month. In cases of severe flea infestation, retreatment may be necessary earlier than one month.
