Cerenia is a veterinary prescription medication classified as a neurokinin-1 (NK1) receptor antagonist. It is the first and only FDA-approved treatment to prevent vomiting due to motion sickness in dogs. By blocking signals to the vomiting center in the brain, Cerenia provides safe, effective, and non-sedating relief, helping dogs travel more comfortably.
